California Gold Paves the Way for Lowe's
Saturday, May 1st, 2010
California Gold Development Corporation began construction for the new Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse in Sonora, California. Lowe’s and California Gold finalized development plans in 2009. Under the agreement, California Gold will perform complex on-site and off-site improvements for Lowe’s. One of California Gold’s major tasks involves realigning 1,100 feet of Old Wards Ferry Road to ease traffic access to the new home improvement store. California Gold anticipates that the road realignment will be completed by mid-August, and that Lowe’s will be open for business by December. Lowe’s is the latest retail addition to Sonora brought to town by California Gold, which recently completed construction on the new Tractor Supply Company store.
